I accidentally posted this to the gallery, so I will post again here so that maybe more will see it.
I just had a last minute commissioned painting for a restaurant and I have to ship it to Montgomery, Alabama from Louisiana in the next few days. I normally seal my paintings with Damar, but I wait until the paint has dried completely before varnishing. Since there is a time element involved here, I was wondering if there is any other varnish/sealer on the market which dries very fast and is okay to apply before 4-6 months as the Damar instructions imply.
