Reader from Paradise requires Urgent Help re Henry A Pettit

I am in the process of researching a local (London/Essex) naturalist who also has links with Canada.
His book 'Unto the Fields' is beautifully illustrated by Henry A Pettit's wood engravings.
Has any ever heard of this illustrator - or can anyone put me on the right route to finding out more about him?

| If you can find the book in a library or bookstore, get the publisher's name. Contact the publisher to ask how to contact the representative of Pettit (or of his estate) and go from there. Good luck. |
