Do you grind your own pigments?

Did you know that there is an advantage to grinding your own pigments and mixing your own paints?

Other than commercial suspension fluids, what do you use for suspending your pigments?

Other than commercially available preground pigments, what other sources of colour have you tried?

Are you concerned with archival qualities in your works?

Am I being archaic in posting this? I just wanted to know if anyone else out there does this.
