Santos painting question

| Hello, I hope it is appropriate to ask here. My question is...I have a "still" painting. When taking it is to have it re-framed we see the signature of E. Santos 72. The framer says it looks to be an original painting...but we know nothing more. I have looked up the picture and I believe I have found the same one done by Victor Santos. It has grapes, wine and a bowl of fruit with a dark background. My knowledge is zero and I hope that you can tell me even some basics on this. Do you have any insight as to how I can find out anything more on it? Thank you Pat |

you should take it to your local university's art dept., or take it to a museum or an art gallery. people working at these places are likely to be knowledgable in this particular respect. good luck,
