Lynda Sounds like you too have become exasperated with people who can apparently find their way to this forum, but can't do a web search otherwise. :>
Was this forum always this way? A lot of art appraisal requests and "homework" questions?
I suppose my contribution must be in the form of a new thread.
Ok, here's a stray thought. I see a lot of talk (especially because of Sept. 11 and it's anniversary) about "art healing". Can art REALLY heal? I'm an artist, but I'm wondering if the concept of art healing or changing the world is nothing more than a romantic idea. If art didn't do anything else but "be art" would we stop being artists? I say all this without the least bit of cynicism.

The University of East Anglia doesn't do any practical art. In Norwich you would have to go to the Norwich School of Art, which is also quite good. But you can find all British art courses listed on the UCAS website.
