Hello,
I have a collection of 50 Eaux Fortes
by the French artist Eugène Veder which
is a complete set of views or the City of Paris
in the first decade of the 20th Century.
Would you be interested in seeing these works ?
I'm in Paris but can send photos if you're a collector -
the prints are in very good condition but need an expert
to retreat them probably to freshen them up.
Kind regards,
D. Jones

I think having them freshened up will decrease their value! The colours may be a bit faded but that's part of their history.

I have 2 Eugene Verders, myself. The block print/etching is 5'x7" and the paper size is 10"x13".
I have spent countless hours, months..etc.. trying to find the value of these two prints. No luck. I tried every search engine out there. I am tired. i just love the prints.

D. Jones and Julie M. , would you like to sell me the prints? I cannot even decide what a great asking/sellig price would be fair! I just love his artwork (brings back memories of when I was not afraid to fly to Europe!!) I was a kid then...had money and liked to travel.

Keep in touch, please. I'll let you know ASAP if I find anything out about our prints.

MOREOVER, never retouch, recolor or try to anti-age anything. Paper restoration is fine, but leave the natural aging alone. Antiques Roadshow LOVER !
Sincerely,
Lisa D.
