| Has anyone else seen this unique film, directed by Sally Potter? At first I thought I had had too much Xmas egg nog, but no, I really did not imagine it: the entire film dialogue was in verses which rhymed! It's the story of a love affair and dysfunctional family, with ironic, existential side commentary made by various "maids", house-cleaners, etc. With a trio of fascinating kitchen workers with almost untranslatable accents, to my ear. |

| Bill, Happy New Year to you, too! Yes, I would recommend it. Sam Neill has the role of the "betrayed" husband. I can't recall the name of the actress who plays the unfaithful wife, but she is excellent in her part. The film reminded me a bit of "Closer". I thought the direction was outstanding. |
