| A different version of H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds 2005 is on tonight on the SciFi channel. I'm taping it. It might be good. This one stars C. Thomas Howell. |

| Unfortunately the video tape came out jumpy and it was hard to watch. I did see the "monster" and it was really scary and had the long tenacles and picked up a few guys. I'm sorry I didn't monitor the taping. |

| minnie, did you see the Tom Cruise remake? I didn't care for it at all, but the SciFi movie was very good. At least there was no kid screaming constantly (Dakota Fanning) and this character was by far MUCH more believable than Tom Cruise. |

| Yes, I did and the graphics were good. I'm waiting for a rerun on the SciFi channel. I'm glad to know it was good. |
