Did anyone see that Blockbuster has their rental service at $14.99 a month versus Netflix at $17.99 a month? I guess the rent from home wars are heating up.

Have you seen the Blockbuster ads recently? I get the feeling their mailing program may not be worked out yet. Is this the wave of the future? Are stores a thing of the past? So far Netflix has their act together. They spent a lot of time and money before coming online. Excellent computer programing.

Do they stock as many titles?

My sister was telling me last night that a friend of hers had signed up with Blockbuster and that she hated their service. She said that they were very slow and she had to wait forever to get the titles she wanted.

Blockbuster may be having a money crunch, and is trying to catch up by taking shortcuts. Can this be compared to Walmart coming onto the scene after Kmart?

I saw the Blockbuster commercial for the first time last night. They offer 2 free in store rentals when you sign up for the service. I was thinking of joining Netflix, but I'm concerned I wouldn't get to watch the movies and they'd sit around forever. I'm more confident about their service than Blockbuster, and I'm sure they have a better selection. I looked at the Blockbuster website, but they didn't tell too much on the opening page. Didn't delve too much into it.
