Redford & Newman teaming up?

| I was reading in the paper that Paul Newman was quoted recently as deciding to retire from racing soon, and acting as well, but that he'd really like to do one more picture with Robert Redford. Of course, providing the script is good. Oh please.. find a good one guys, I've been wanting to see you together again!! |

| Ever notice that their pairings have resulted in some of the most watchable movies ever? Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and The Sting are two of my favorite movies. |

| They probably should have did this a decade or so ago. As much as I love the chemistry between these two, I can't see how they could come up with a script at their age that would work outside of being a novelty. Hopefully it won't be Grumpy Old Men 3. |

| Or maybe they could do a sort of Sting II. They're old but they're still wily, and they need to make one last score sort of thing. |

| Great team, those two. But I also liked the pairing of Redford with Brad Pitt in a spy film that came out a few years ago. (Can't recall its title). |

| Newman stated that it would have to be something worthwhile, obviously, or else never mind. I think something is possible, without resorting to hokey comedy or action, like Space Cowboys, or Grumpy Old Men. He was good in Road to Perdition. Likewise Redford in The Horse Whisperer. |

| Paul Newman has made a few bad movies in his career such as the one with Robbie Benson, I think it was called Harry and Son and he actually starred in a disaster movie with Barbara Carerra so let's hope they get a very good script and do it right. Please, let's not have a remake of that Kirk Douglas Burt Lancaster movie about the train robbery. |
