TV Disc 'Little House on the Prarie'

TV Discussion:
A new 5 part series starts tonight on ABC "Little House on the Prarie". 8:00 to 10:oo EST It promises to be nothing like the TV series that had been on several years ago (Thank goodness). For those who may be Laura Ingalls Wilder purists this is promising to be true to the books.
I was so surprised to see it advertised in my TV section that comes out in todays paper. I hadn't seen anything about it before. I sure hope it is good. |

| I'm a fan of the tv series, so I'm probably not the best judge. I thought the miniseries was a little weaker than I expected but still watchable. I really liked the casting. I too was surprised that I hadn't seen any promotions for it. I heard that even this new miniseries wasn't that true to the books...like where was Carrie and why wasn't Jack a bull dog?, etc...What did the Wilder fans think? Did you enjoy it, Minnie? I'll probably try to catch the rest but won't be too disappointed if I happen to miss any. |

| I taped it but didn't watch all of it. I like the actors in it so I'll have to reserve my opinion for later |
