The 4400

Is anyone watching this now? Ok, you naughty people got me into this show last year and I blame you!

I can't say I love the new plot twists. 1) they feel forced 2) they feel like blatant excuses for um, various gratuitous things 3) it's starting to take on a soap-opera vibe 4) they're killing off characters I like fo no reason 5) it's losing its original edginess and the writing is getting rather silly

I think that sums it up.

That being said, I'm still watching it in the hopes that they will deliver the goods. In particular I'm waiting for Collier to come back, I suspect it will get juicier once that happens.

Arrgghhh! I forgot to watch it til this past Sunday!
I can (sort of) figure out that they killed off Lily supposedly to let her daughter grow up/age?-and then to set her up with whathisname (!) to seduce him to doing whatever-how concise is that LOL!

I didn't like the ending - taking the young ones...but-that Borg Queen/Ice Queen never seems to age-good genes! I saw her last weekend on an early episode of Sharpe on BBC America she looks just the same.

I do agree that the episode that I saw was not up to the standard of the 1st season, and I will try to remember to watch this weekend - but if it doesn't improve-ah well another series down the tubes!

RE: The 4400

I watched the premiere last week and then the follow up this week. I am irritated by the silly plot lines and disappointed that they are letting the supernatural mystery go. I DO like the plot with them taking Mya. That seems a little more interesting and not so "90210-soap-opera-ish" (for a lack of better description) As I said I can't wait till Collier gets resurrected, that should bring some of the intrigue back.

For the record, I LOVE Alice Krige - the actress who played the Borg Queen as well as the ghost in Ghost Story -she is always marvelously creepy and was thrilled to see her here!

I can't believe I forgot to watch it again!
I was watching PBS & the new Miss Marple episodes and to make matters worse (for me) I thought the show was terrible and very badly acted-and I hardly recognized Anthony Andrews.

Did I miss anything?
