Edited movies

I have seen services advertised that will edit purchased Hollywood DVDs for customers for what the service considers inappropriate material. Is there a service that will edit whatever the customer wants removed?
Thanks.

If I'm not mistaken, some producers in Hollywood just won a lawsuit to prevent companies from doing this and in my opinion, rightly so. I think it is ridiculous. This country is far too prudish - if people are so easily offended (and these days it seems like everything offends them), then they should stick to Disney films.

Pam here is one site. You might want to investigate and see what they might have

Here is a link that might be useful: CleanFilms - E-Rated DVD Movie Rentals

Phillip,
I agree with you and wouldn't attempt to do anything to violate artistic rights. I just thought that if I purchased the DVD it would be mine and I could do what I want with it including melt it if I choose. Anyway, I just wanted to cut out something not have others decide. I realize this can be a big discussion.

I just read this article:

It is an interesting debate. The Clean Films site says that they aren't taking any new customers. I assume people can still change things at home if they wish, just not sell them. Thanks for the info.
