| For those interested: Turner Classics -TCM- is setting aside its scheduled progrmming today to honor June Allyson. They are starting off with "Best Foot Forward" which introduced her to the film world. I don't know what the rest of the day will bring. |

I watched the TCM 1998 interview she did with Robert Osborne. It was very intimate. She admitted she had had a crush on actor Alan Ladd, but her husband "Richard" (Dick Powell) wouldn't let her go. I finally got to watch "Little Womemn" all the way through. She was fabulous in it, she carried the main storylines. A real
tear-jerker. |
