| I've been watching movies all my life. I've been mesmerized with Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor. But, setriously, who was/is the absolutely most beautiful woman ever in a movie? I can narrow it down to two- Lana Turner and Ann Sothern. Who is your choice? |

| Welcome to the forum, jannie! If you're referring to older movies, Audrey Hepburn immediately comes to mind. For me, it always includes her inner beauty. |

Elizabeth Taylor! A lot of the older movies had beautiful actresses IMO. The actresses of today-to me-all look alike I can't really see much diference from one to another. There are a couple of exceptions, but mostly the young actors-male & female seem to be interchangeable.....just my opinion! Pat |

| For yesterday, definitely Marilyn. For today, Keira Knightley... my daughter resembles her! |

| I agree, Pat, with the modern day look-alikes. I vote for Audrey, Elizabeth Taylor, and Julie Christie. |

| Elizabeth Taylor, in Ivanhoe. Ava Gardner, in her earlier movies, is a close second. |

| In the younger group, Charleze Theron for sure. |

Tough question. Sophia Loren, Claudette Colbert. Michelle Pfeiffer. Current crop my favorite would be Angelina Jolie. Catherine Zeta Jones, Kate Beckinsale, and Rachel Weisz are also very beautiful. My hubby votes for Anne Hathaway. :) |

During my film going days I saw about 4 a week and think that Yvonne de Carlo was the loveliest brunette, Maureen O'Hara, red head and Grace Kelly, blonde. I would see all their films from the morning matinee to the late evening show when the films were continually run on a drop-in basis. Now I choose DVDs for their plots and do not worry about who is in them! |

| annpan, I would vote for loveliest brunette: Eliz. Taylor, redhead: ballet star Moira Shearer of "The Red Shoes", and blonde: Norwegian actress, Liv Ullman, FWIW. |
