Is this possible?

Hi there! My friend was clearing out an attic and came across a small box containing slides from a tour a couple took of Europe. It looks, from the pictures I see of cars, to be the early 30's. We are not swimming in tech. toys and want to know if its possible to scan the slides somehow into the computer so we may view them on the monitor.
Now, I am not attempting to show my lack of knowledge here but she has a lexmark copier/scanner/fax machine. Can we do anything? Help.

| You might have better luck getting an answer in the Computer Help forum-it is now free-you used to have to pay to post. Pat |

| Kim, some scanners have a special hood for scanning slides. Perhaps if you check out the specifications of her particular model on the Lexmark site, it might give you instructions. My scanner has a facility for scanning slides and negatives, but I've never used it! |
