RE: Frame Game IV

Ah yes, that's from the French movie CACHÉ, with Daniel Auteuil and the lovely Juliette Binoche. Good one, paula! I really liked Daniel Autueil in Le Bossu, period film.

Here's a recap of the instructions for any newbees...

You can search Google images (for example) for a picture you want to post. Go to "see full size image", copy the image location then write this little piece of code including the copied image location.(remove spaces before and after the brackets)

< img src="paste the photo link here" >

Alrighty...

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

I looked it up so I know what it is, but I didn't see it (yet). Is it a good one by our famous young actor C?

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Well, I thought it was rather good... up until the last 15 minutes or so when it went sour (for me), but hey, I'm a sucker for anything Depp!

Let's see if "conjuring" his name helps others to guess this supernatural flic.

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

here's another clue...

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

That's Frank Langella and Johnny Depp in THE NINTH GATE.

Take it away, ANYONE!

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Alrighty then...

Clue #1:

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

omg ,is that Kevin Bacon impersonating surfin' dude Jeff Spicoli (Sean Penn) of Fast Times at Ridgemont High?,,,, LOL

I don't know this movie. He's been doing some really different stuff lately...

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

LOL! I just happened upon this one while zapping last night. It's Kevin Bacon as Jorgé, the coniving gay hairsalon owner in a light comedy starring a certain Queen...
I'll let u guess the rest.
Bacon's performance --and accent-- stole the show for me. Hilarious!

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Beautyshop,.... ha I never did watch the whole thing..

ok...

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Ahhh, another very good movie: Into the Wild. Wasn't Emile Hirsh incredible? I have nothing but respect for actors who go the such lengths to incarnate a character.

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

The Pianst

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Yep... The Pianst it is. Another actor who gave his all (healthwise) in his character.

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

...and this one too

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Cool, of course Bale is among them: The Machinist. For some reason, this movie never hit out theatres and I can't even find it in local video stores... Someday... ;)

Lest we forget, lol:

Moving on...

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

and this guy who seemed to start the 'living the role'..

......
......
......
......

Hmmm....is this the one where he lived since birth, on an ocean liner? Can't think of the name....

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Yep, it's The Legend of 1900. Your turn.

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

ok

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

not sure but... Big Fish ?

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

yep..you got it

where is everyone? Has the forum become too ho hum? Everything's been done?

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

A few people have mentioned not enough discussions.

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Dog Day Afternoon

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Earth to paulainpa, come in paula!

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

RE: Frame Game IV

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Alrighty then...

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

I think it's Michael Fox.

Thats all that I can tell you.

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Welcome to the party, junek-2009! The more the merrier! :D
You have HALF of the equation right...

The movie also starred a famous MYSTIC person...

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

I think I have it!!!!

Where The River Flows North.

(The mystic is Sean Penn from Mystic River)

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Right Mystic... but wrong title. Try again!:D
pssst! think WAR movie

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Casualties Of War.

Thanks for the pssst!

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Alrighty... How about this one?

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

How about...

PARIS TEXAS

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

How about... YOUR TURN! lol

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

I do not have the know-how, and too old to learn!!!

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Believe me, if I can learn it, so can you (and heck, we're probably the same age!)

Start by typing the little code below (you can copy and paste the code). Then go to Google, type any movie title in Images to find a picture you want to post (try for one that's smaller than 600x600)for best results. Click on "see full size image", copy the image location (the http address) then paste the latter inside the following code just after the = sign(remove spaces before and after the brackets). Go ahead, give it a try. What's the worst that can happen? lol Many of us have bungled our first time out. Don't worry... you're between friends :)

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Thank you for your help, however I shall pass.

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Alrighty then, you old whippersnapper lol

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Sleeper - Woody Allen

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

NOPE, your Alzheimers is beginning to kick in this morning...lol
Try again, you're warm...well at least as warm as these guys ;)

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

I could cheat and look up the name, but isn't this Woody Allen as one of many sperm, sitting in an aircraft (one of them playing the mouthorgan) just about to be parachuted out into the unknown? I remember the clip involved the back seat of a car and a crane. :-)

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Close enough, veer. It's a clip from "Everything You Always to Know About Sex but Were Afraid to Ask"
You're up!

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Who is this good looking chap?

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Fredric March

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Spencer Tracy (maybe in Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde)

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

nope! Try again missy!

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Howzabout What About Bob and hey where'v ya been? Misstcha!

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Not yet!

This is a movie that's very well known, but his role was very small and overshadowed by other actor's characters.... 'that's all I got to say about that'

It's nice to be mizzed!

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Hmmm... well he did appear briefly in TOOTSIE...? Am I getting warmer?

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

BINGO C! yeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrr up

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Alrighty... here's an easy one:

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

WHAT? No takers??? I'm sure you've all seen this one, by a famous foreign Oscar wining director... Here's another visual:

It's the same girl in both pictures. The boy in pic2 took his bubble gum out of his mouth to kiss her...

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Huh? STILL no guesses? Man, I'm good lol
You're going to kick yourselves...

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

The Ice Storm...

guess this'll be easy

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Judgement at Nuremburg, methinks

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

No guesses? How could anyone forget that dress?
Here's another clue:

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Ohhh yes...Atonement.. my daughter has that dress ...beautiful, she wore it to her prom. She's as skinny as Keira.

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Is that from Shawshank Redemption?

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

That would be a yes

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Alrighty...

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Gun Crazy 1950

"Since he was a child, Bart Tare has always loved guns. After leaving the army, his friends take him to a carnival, where he meets the perfect girl, Annie, a sharp-shooting sideshow performer who loves guns as much as he. The two run off and marry, but Annie isn't happy with their financial situation, so at her behest the couple begins a crosscountry string of daring robberies. Never one to use guns for killing, Bart is dragged down into oblivion by the greedy and violent nature of the woman he loves."

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Never heard of it, ideefixe. Tell me, why is it one of your faves?

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Here's a tother clue:

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

A River Runs Through It

Here is a link that might be useful: Next Clue

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Too easy! Heeeeeeeeeeeeeere's Johnny!

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Huh? No guesses? How can you NOT recognize Donald Sutherland? He worked awfully hard in this one...

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

That's Fellini's Casanova. If you look at the first picture, he LOOKS like Casanova, albeit a slightly more forbidding version.

Here's my clue:

Here is a link that might be useful: Wikipedia entry on Casanova

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

That looks like Jason Statham 2nd from the right, so I'm guessing a Brit flic?

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Brit flick = correct
Jason Statham = correct

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Ok... so... aside from that, I'm stumped!

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

This is the iconic image from the movie:

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

That looks like Vinnie Jones... but still stumped. It all looks vaguely familiar... Wait! Is there a bank heist involved, sort of a "one last job" scenario?

I don't want to cheat and look it up, so I'll just wait for the others' input

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Helloooooooooooo, clue please

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Earth to DYNUMUTTKINS, Earth to DYNOMUTTKINS...

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Ok, I cheated and looked it up, simply because I wanted to get the game moving along... No offense, Dynomutt.

LOCK STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS

Here's another one:

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

clairabelle, isn't that Bill Nighy who for years was a jobbing actor than suddenly made it big-time and seems to be everywhere on our screens?
Sorry don't know the flick.

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

yes veer, Bill Nighy. Wasn't he great in Love, Actually?!

BTW, this IS a comedy!

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Hot Fuzz?

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

nope... but yerr gettin' warmerrr, Cap'tain...

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Doh! My sincere apologies.... I was out of town for a week. Going on a five day marketing trip can be quite, ummmm..... hectic.

And yes, it's LOCK, STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS.

The frame HAS to be from SHAUN OF THE DEAD. I think Bill Nighy was the boyfriend of Shaun's mom in the movie.

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Correctomundo! Give our favorite mutt a chocolate PR package! :D

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Doh! My sincere apologies! I've been a bit ..... ummm.... remiss in my duties here. But, between a marketing trip, two fencing tournaments, clients banging on my door, Valentine's Day, AND Chinese New Year, it's been a tad .... hectic. (Did you know that it looks like China is shut down for a week after Chinese New Year? I can't get my fencing supplies because there's no one at the wheel!)

Anyway ... in honor of Chinese New Year.........

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Crouching Tiger Fencing Dragon? :D

 o
RE: Frame Game IV

Ummmm..... not quite fencing dragon .... :-)
