I run the foreign film nights at our condo. I thought a holiday film would be appropriate. And ideas?

"Joyeux Noel." A very moving, inspiring film based on a true event which took place on the battlefields of WW I. I think it's one of the best movies I've ever seen.

Have you thought of Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors?
Or there is The Box of Delights if you consider something made by the BBC as being 'foreign' :-) It is available on DVD. Don't be put off by the children's story tag; adults would enjoy it, quite a spooky Christmas story.

Believe it or not we ended up with Central Station while not a holiday movie, it did have a happy ending. Everyone loved it. Each month we agonize over "What to show." But we enjoy running it.This month I would like to show The Black Book but DH thinks it is a bit too bloody. Thanks for everyone's help.
