Here is one of her songs.

Here is a link that might be useful: Good-Bye

Dh and I like her, though a lot of her songs sound the same to me. The one listener supported station that I listen to, plays her stuff. She has a song called "Camelot Motel" about the wacky stuff that takes place there. When I first heard it, I knew dh would like it, and told him about it. He happened to catch it one day and fell in love w/it and bought the CD. "Mercy Now" is good too.

Thanks, jobird, it helped make up my mind a little more but... I'm still sorta on the fence.

I liked Drag Queens and Limousines--maybe it was her first album. I also saw her live once, and she was really good.

She has an interesting history--I think she only started the singer/songwriter thing when she was in her forties (that's a really flattering photo of her above, she looks much older than that in person). I think she spent time on drugs and in jail in her youth and finally got it together--good for her!

Duh--that was supposed to be "Drag Queens IN Limousines".
