| The great lead singer of the boxtops passed away at age 59 the other day.He was such a great vocalist and i really liked 4 box tops songs a great deal over the years.Cry like a baby,neon rainbow,soul deep, and the letter all are songs that still sound super today.He apparently had a heart attack a short while after being brought to a hospital wednesday evening. |

| Well alisonn we are even then because although i understand that his work with big star is very popular and well respected ive never heard any of it.I might purchase some big star recordings though.Of course the boxtops had much more radio airplay and exposure over the years. |
