Promising Looking Music Festivals

The line-up for the Appel Farm Music Fest (here in Jersey) was just announced. It's a small festival with two stages, but its quality vs. quantity: Avett Brothers, Patty Griffin, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings. I've seen these three and they are all worth seeing again.

Any festival line-ups out there catching your eye, whether you will get to go or not?

The new Lilith Fair line-ups are more interesting to me than the old ones were.

Here is a link that might be useful: Lilith Fair

My friend is all enthusiastic about Lilith--she thinks we should go to celebrate the fact that we will both be turning 50 this year.

Geez, Lerue, it looks like you are holding this board together all by yourself--it's like a ghost town around here.

I think you might like the current Lilith line-up. (Okay, I admit I don't know who a lot of those people are, but the ones I know suggest that it's more diverse stylistically than it was back in the 90s.)

That's funny because I consider myself a marginal contributor. (I'm not really into the music trivia type games.) I'm not sure why I keep posting here but it's obviously a habit. This site is like my internet small town or something (although I guess "ghost town" is more accurate).

Aw, lerue. I think of you as integral, not marginal. Alisonn too, of course.

I know people read your contributions and learn from them, whether they add to the discussion or not. I don't often comment, but I find them intriguing.
