Find a song's name

Posted by ernul (My Page) on

Hello again! This time I'm looking for a "Rock group's" song of perhaps the 70-80s(?) with these word/lyrics in them: "Oo Momma I....," "I don't have very long."
"Hang man is...", The beat or tones go up and down.

I'm going to use this song's background instruments for a parody (my first),

Sorry there's not much to work with here but if it comes to you, please post the title & group.

As always, your help is much appreciated!

Best!

Fred

THANKS so much Minnie !!
Lyrics to Renegade : Oh Mama, I'm in fear for my life from the long arm of the law Hang man is coming down from the gallows, and I don't have very long. The jig is up, the news is out They finally found me The renegade who had it made Retrieved for a bounty Never more to go astray This'll be the end today Of the wanted man Oh Mama, I've been years on the lam and had a high price on my head Lawman said 'Get him dead or alive' and I'm for sure he'll see me dead Oh Mama I can hear you cryin', you're so scared and all alone Hangman is comin' down from the gallows and I don't have very long.

Minnie did a great job in helping you find your song.

I have the best luck finding out what a song title is by going to google's advanced search.

On the line for single words I type "lyrics" and then on the line for a phrase I type a phrase from the song. There are so many sites with song lyrics written out that I usually get my answer right away.

I like origami and used to do it a lot in my youth -- can we see your pictures?

Sounds of silence

I take it there's a way other than through email to show my orgami pics? I'm 62 and not fully up-to-speed on all aspects of the PC world so forgive me....and I'm harmless (heard that one before). No problem. Happy trails. Fred
