Personal stuff aside, I like quite a bit of his music.

I knew he had some health issues, but I didn't realize how bad off he was.

This week's Rolling Stone has an article about his upcoming Summer tour and how he had missed rehearsals and such.

What an incredible influence... and incredible loss.
Such an impact, not only on pop music and culture, but in the world and history of dance. Can we say that about anyone else?

"Please don't let me be misunderstood..."

He always seemed very frail physically, still it was a shock because he was young still. He was 2 years older than me,so i grew up listening to those jackson 5 singles, some of them hold up well today.I was never a fan though. But i like billie jean and state of shock, his duet single he did with mick jagger afew years back.I dont dig watching other men dance, and all that moonwalking and dancing does nothing for me.I dont agree with all this greatest ententainer ever garbage. Was he greater or more influencial than the beatles, elvis, sinatra,or the stones...of course not.His family should have been watching out more for his welfare.
