Regarding Athlete's 'Wires'

| There's a band called Athlete with a song called "Wires" and I've read the lyrics a coupe times but I still can't quite get the context of the song. I think it has to do with a hospital but most of all I want to know what "hope in a plastic box" is. If anyone has any thoughts or credible info on the song I'd love to know, I'm very interested. Thanks! |

| Since the song is about a person who has rushed to the hospital to visit someone on the first night of their life, finding them with wires attached, etc., I would guess the "plastic box" that holds hope is an incubator containing a newborn baby. |
