Badi Assad: Latin Jazz

| Hi! I'm a parent and I find the job very stressful. However, when the kids are gone for a while and I am free to relax at home, I find that a little Latin Jazz hits the spot. I used to listen to Getz/Gilberto mostly, but recently my friend gave me her copy of a new CD by Badi Assad called "Verde" -- and this album hits the spot just right! I'd like to know if anyone else has heard of her. If you're curious and so inclined, you can listen to a couple song samples by going to badiassad.com and clicking on "new". What do you think? |

It's definitely an ad. If you troll around the web like I do, you will see this crap on several boards. Ric |

| Don't care much for the tremolo in her voice. I prefer Latin instrumental to vocal anyway. Stan Getz Bossas and Ballads, the Lost Sessions is an excellent example. |
