I hope some of you got to see the Paul McCartney special,
"The Space Within Us", tonight on tv. Unlike some
others, he has not become a caricature, he still makes
good music and he still rocks.
It's amazing that you (I) can sit and smile while Paul
seems to be having a great time on stage and also have
a tear come to the eye. Is it the memories that are
conjured up, or is it seeing all the people having a
great time and thinking about the things that have
happened to the various Beatles and, lately, to Paul
himself?
Anyway, if you get the chance to see it, take the time.
It's worth it just to see him singing "Please Please Me"
at the end. |

| Well written quick85.Im sorry i missed it.Thankfully paul and ringo are still with us,and for the most part enjoying themselves.Paul has had some tragedy in his life, and we all know about his divorce proceedings, but hes still enjoying being himself, and doing musical projects.Lennon and harrison had terrible exits from this earth, and they are two guys that i miss greatly. The beatles were a special entity, thankfully we still have the cds or lps. |

| Missed the special, but had a few teary eyed moments at the Paul Simon concert the hubby and I went to this past summer. I think it's a combination of the memories and the lyrics, boy they can get to you! "Bridge Over Troubled Water" came out the year I graduated high school. Both the hubby and I had tears running down our cheeks when he sang that one. |
