Yes, after 22 long years my Detroit Tigers have made it back to the World Series. Bob Seger was picked to sing the National Anthem for the opener. Nice to see as they usually pick Aretha Franklin for these kind of things. Anita Baker will sing for Game 2. I also heard John Mellencamp will be performing.

John Mellencamp, eh? I guess it's safe to say he won't be singing "Baltimore Oriole"

Bob is usually watching these sporting events. He is seen at many Pistons games.

I wonder if Bob sang America The Beautiful because he couldn't hit the high notes of the Star Spangled Banner.

For those who don't know Bob has a new album out and is touring. This is a way to promote him and his album.

I hope they keep Aretha on the sidelines this year. Enough is enough.

And that Jennifer Hudson girl shouted her song instead of singing it. Simon Cowell would not approve.

I was a bit of a wise guy there, but I did wonder what
Bob was up to. While I dig Seeger, I NEVER want to hear
"Turn The Page" and "Like A Rock" ever again.

I'd have liked to hear him do "America The Beautiful". That
should be our National Anthem. I'll agree with you on
Aretha.

Remember Quick, when talking about Pete it is Seeger. When describing Bob by his last name, it is Seger.

Bobs brand new cd release is only getting lukewarm reviews.Based on the reviews ive read,i probably will not purchase it.Although it is selling at a nice clip.
