I like Jeff Tweedy, but his version of "Simple Twist of Fate" is weak compared to Dylan's. Eddie Vedder's "AAtW" sounds like a little girl's compared to Jimi's. Anything by the Black Keys of is OK with me. Johnny Winter's "Highway 61 Revisited" from the 30th Anniversary Concert is much better.

No one should ever dare record all the watchtower after hearing the hendrix studio version,its incredible!

Was "I'm not there" ever released except on bootleg? I only remember a scratchy version on l.p. .... Also the movie had a lot of what I thought were Dylan versions of his songs.. but I don't see them on the sound track.
