That is very touching. I have one of June Tabor's albums, called "Rosa Mundi," in which all of the songs have roses in their theme or story. It's one of my favorites, rose nut that I am, and she has a lovely, expressive voice.

She has an excellent voice, but I have to admit I tend to prefer when she sticks to more traditional material. (The same is true for Mary Black.) I saw her once many years ago. Lately I've been feeling a little more pull back toward Celtic and English folk music (not the upbeat dance stuff, but the ballads), somewhat out of the blue.

Traditional songs like,"O My Luve's Like A Red Red Rose," "Lo, How A Rose Ere Blooming" and "Barbry Ellen" are included on the June Tabor album I have. I also like traditional folk music, and am glad that it is still performed and recorded.
